The capability to moderate and effectively hold back the release of comments on blogs means that blogs can be used to gather information about a topic over an extended period of time before all participants are given a chance to access it such as with The Puzzler blog

The Puzzler08 blog is also worthy of comment because of how some of the students began to claim ownership of the space such as with Pete's introductory movie and the ever expanding Voki family.
